Playing time

On sunny days
mommy takes me to the park,
to run in the playground
and sit in the grass.

To watch all the squirrels,
running around
and feed the little birds,
while I am having a snack.

With Josie I swing
trying to reach the sky.
I can swing on my own,
I am a big boy now.

We get tired of swinging
and we go to the slide,
to play with sammy and Adam;
they have been there for a while.

Time to go, little fellow!
Mom has been saying for a while,
I pretend I don't listen
I want to stay for a while.
