Tina's Poem_Week 7

 My Dali Experience

A museum that holds all the best works
Of the man who had the most familiar mustache and smirk
The building constructed after his similar “Egg” works
With hanging paintings of the Salvador Dali Cirque
Hues of striking rustic colors,
melting clocks, some bigger and some smaller.
Elephants and mosquitos with legs for days
I swear I’m in some trippy haze.
I have only witnessed this sense of surrealism once before
In my dreams and a trip with psychedelics,
“Oh wait maybe twice, I’m sure.”
Right before me, dream like ideas
Brushed and stroked lined up in a galleria.
Could this be true what the guide is saying
a twisted painting with no drugs, not even playing.
I couldn’t believe the knowledge behind Dali
It seemed so contrastingly striking.
Though totally blown away
I couldn’t decide to go or just stay.

Tina's Haikus Week 7

#1: Goodnight
   Nasonex to breathe
So you do not ever sneeze
Sleep well and goodnight.

#2: Nasonex is Tight
   Breathing clear feels right
Especially when its night
Nasonex is tight!

#3: Free Me
   I hate the sniffles
Because they can hold me back
Nasonex frees me

#4: My Worst Enemy
    Nasal congestion
Can be my worst enemy
Nasonex kills that

#5: Please Inhale
   Please inhale this spray
and experience the rays,
outside can be nice.

The Flood

Oh alergies you.
with your loving ah-ah-choos
Hate you like the flu.

The Flood

Unstoppable flood,
Green, sticky, out of my nose.
Spray me, free my cough.

"Red like a rose" Haiku 5 - Week 8 (Theme: Nasonex)

"Red like a rose"

My itchy nose has
turned the color of a rose!
Where's my Nasonex?!

Lasagna - Poem

What if yellow rhymed with marshmallow.
I mean, what if it don't?
Did I say something wrong?
What if a yellow marshmallow
was eaten while someone was singing
a mellow song? King Kong.

Rules in art, rules in advertising
All that seems so free is not at all enticing.
Never mix red and green,
The tag never goes before the headline.
My eyes hurt, my fingers bleed
The only thing thats changing is my receding hairline.

My favorite dish is lasagna,
but I fart when I eat cheese.
Fuck the rules,
don't say please.

And if you are thinking exactly that,
there is no way i can tell what.
but your eyes are are blinking
There is no kong, only your king.
Wanting, waiting, to do you wrong.

The itch

Its that yearly itch,
that cant be defeated if.
theres no Nasonex.

Buggarts

I don’t know what else
is there left for me to do
my runny nose yells.

Tide The executioner

The miraculous
executioner arrives.
Stains are departing!

Happy cat!

Mister Whiskers smiles,
he can sleep in bed tonight
Nasonex inside!

Poem # 7 - The Final Week from Hell

The final week approaches,
it has reared its ugly head.
The pressure is off the roof,
and my brain feels almost dead.

Meaningless hours wasted,
crunch time is finally at hand.
How I wish to reach the end
unscathed while my legs still stand.

Red Bull cans in my trash,
I yearn for rest in sleepless days.
Work never seems to get done,
and my thoughts are adrift in a haze.

Deadlines, projects and finals,
This is not what I asked for...
Every idea comes with a struggle
It feels like I'm going to war.

No time for rainbows or sunshine.
It's blood, sweat and tears.
I panic in fright and ask myself:
How will I conquer my fears?

I answer & say "It's just one week"
Everything will come to pass.
This nightmarish week from hell
can frankly kiss my ass!

Ali's Haiku-isms # 33

Stain Assassination

Stains will feel the pain
When Tide spreads its soapy wrath.
Now that's a clean kill!

Sarah's Haiku

Paint it Red

I wear a red stain,
Evidence of a long night,
Tide erase the shame.

Pump It Up, Nasonex

Your long slender tube's,
always welcome in my nose,
Spray away, my friend!

My muses

Inspiration comes
in the middle of the night;
muses pay me a visit
and ask me to dance.

I dance at their pace
and I am lost in their embrace;
I am living my present
no one is on the way.

I want to live in this cloud
when the sun comes out,
when the music fades away
and the birds fly around.

I linger in this feeling,
don't ever want to look back
but gravity whispers in my ear
it is time to come down

I am back to myself,
I've been high for a while;
I feel so good in my own
and I am ready for a second round!

Afraid they are

My clothes are afraid,
locked in the closet they lay.
Tide is on it's way!

Eternal traveler

Not from here, not from there,
non the less, from anywhere.

You belong, just in your mind,
in a gorgeous land, from which you're banned.

They want you out, you want back in,
and in the end, the idea sinks.

To be an immigrant, it hurts inside,
that painful love, just doesn't die.

But it grows stronger from that place called home,
and makes you love it, quite even more.

You learn to live each day alone
because you feel no one truly knows.

13 years ago, my life changed a lot,
I lost my faith in growing up.

I knew some troubles I couldn't solve,
and leaving everything was just the worst.

I remember saying many goodbyes,
lost and sad in that timeless land.

But someday I know, I will be back,
and I'll build a passage between each land.

Drama Queen!

Hey nose, yeah nose, YOU!
Stop complaining like a child,
spray Nasonex now!

Sarah's Poem-Life of a Fool

Life of a Fool

Its hard too look up,
when you've been looking down for so long,
heavens a ways away,
and I'm stuck to the ground.

Swimming against the current,
only takes you so far,
before it takes you under,
and you've lost sight of where you are.

There was a choice,
placed before us,
to stand or to fall,
So excuse me while I'll scrape myself up off the floor.

Bloody hands, blurred vision,
Clouted thoughts, desensitized by it all.
An unknown power over me,
bringing me up, rising to the call,

I rise as I fall,
I sink as I swim,
I do whatever it takes,
There is no other choice in this life but to win.

Sarah's Haikus

Sweet Clean

I love the fresh smell,
Of fresh clean sheets on my bed,
Tide, you do me right.

Allergy Alert
I hate allergies,
Dust and pollen in my nose,
Sweet Nasonex fix

Grateful
Dirty and smelly,
But not the way I like it,
I thank God for Tide.

Repent
A shot to the nose,
It drenches all the debris,
Wash away these sins
